When I decided to pursue a Cosmetology career, I had no idea what I wanted to focus on. I honestly thought it would be extensions. However, the more I began to interact with clients the more I learned that natural hair was making a come back. It seemed as though it was very difficult for people to care for their  natural hair at home. More specifcally curlies and people transitioning from chemically processed to non-processed.This is when I started my Natural Hair Journey. Not the typical "I cut my hair and now I need to learn about it". More so "There is a need for natural haircare knowledge and I need to learn so that I can teach." This is my most favorite decision. As an African American woman, I know first hand that growing up we were taught how to care for our hair and it seems that everything we were taught was incorrect. I do not claim to know everything but I am absolutely willing to work with what I do know and to learn more so that we can make your journey easier and better. Ending result ; Healthy Hair.
